Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate services company, has signed up as the first official partner of ActionAid’s ‘Emergency Response 100’.
ActionAid, the international development agency formed to help fight global poverty, has launched the ‘Emergency Response 100’ scheme to provide urgent help and immediate support at the point it is needed most, when a global disaster or humanitarian emergency strikes. The official partners will pledge their support by fundraising for ActionAid when an appeal is launched.
David Radcliffe, HRG’s Chief Executive said; “We are thrilled to be the first company to pledge support for the ‘Emergency Response 100’, particularly as our relationship with ActionAid has grown over the past five years. As a global company, HRG has always been committed to fundraising, particularly when all areas of the business can be involved. The ‘Emergency Response 100’ allows us to demonstrate our strong international relations whilst giving something back to those in dire need of our help.”

HRG have supported ActionAid for the last five years. In that time more than 12,000 employees around the world have participated in a wide variety of fundraising activities raising over 270,000 for specific ActionAid projects. Annual fundraising efforts are centred on HRG Day, 3 April, a day of global celebration of the HRG brand and network. The day enables staff to come together and unite as one, to encourage team-work, good relations, fun and to celebrate. Ultimately HRG Day is a chance for HRG staff to make a difference to those with lives less fortunate than their own and to recognise the truly international scope of the HRG business.
