Renowned Chef Matt Moran visits Tasmania on the T-QUAL Tick Tour

Renowned Australian Chef Matt Moran travelled to Tasmania recently to sample some of the region’s finest tourism experiences that carry the T-QUAL Tick.

Tourism Businesses that carry the Australian Government’s new symbol of tourism quality, the T-QUAL Tick have endured thorough assessments to make sure they offer a quality experience.

Matt Moran started his tour at the Lenna of Hobart hotel, a waterfront heritage listed property located on Battery Point Hobart.

During his stay the celebrity Chef visited the Maritime Museum of Tasmania then took in Tasmania’s landscapes from above with Tasmanian Air Adventures before embarking on a cruise with the Tasman Island Cruises.

Mr Moran completed his visit with a stay at the Henry Jones Art Hotel followed by a trip to the acclaimed Museum of Old and New Art and a tour of Hobart with the Red Decker Company.

Mr Moran said he has visited Tasmania in the past but its beauty plus the range of activities available for tourists is amazing.

“The places I have visited this weekend were just a small example of the high-quality hotels, tours and experiences that are available in Tasmania, Mr Moran said.

“Now these are even easier to find when booking a holiday – all you have to do is look for the T-QUAL Tick.”

Later this month Matt Moran will be exploring more of T-QUAL endorsed products in Australia’s Northern Territory.
