It has begun snowing at Falls Creek with temperatures plummeting to minus 6.5 degrees app temperature at lunchtime today and minus 8.9 degrees overnight.

Over the weekend Falls Creek had some warm sunny days, which suddenly changed to freezing wintery weather.

"With the white gold falling to the ground you'd think the skiing season was going to start very soon" says Howie "Winter is fast approaching and this is a sign what's to come"

"Bookings at Falls Creek Reservations are up on last year and we've had a very positive response to our reduced priced tickets and value season passes for 2012" says Howie.

The Winter Season starts Saturday 9th June with celebrations throughout the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
