Excite Holidays is experiencing a significant rise for UK destinations in the lead up to the Olympic games, which has seen agent enquiries for London up by 55% compared to this time last year.

George Papaioannou CEO of Excite Holidays said “interest in the London 2012 Olympics has been steadily increasing since January this year and we have plenty of rooms still available in many city hotels across London”.

He added that a lot of interest on the high end 4 & 5 star properties were coming through the travel agent network within Australia & New Zealand with 28% comprising of an added day tour.
