Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) has launched a suite of destination publications including 70 000 copies of an exciting new 76 page 2012-2013 Official Visitors Guide. An updated Sunshine Coast Visitors Map and 50 Must Do’s on the Sunshine Coast has also been produced to complement the Visitors Guide. All collateral will be distributed throughout the nine Sunshine Coast Visitor Information Centres as well as out of region centres, and at trade and travel shows. SCDL CEO, Steve Cooper said the official visitors guide, the 50 must do’s and the map provide the premier source of holiday information and they go beyond the usual directories of products or places. In addition to these key pieces of collateral, the International Product Manual 2012-2013 was also launched last month at Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE). SCDL Trade and International Manager, Gemma O’Brien said there was a record 61 operators included in the international product manual this year due to the continued development of products through the Tourism Queensland and SCDL Internationally Ready Program. Ms O’Brien said criteria for inclusion included being contracted with an Inbound Tour Operator or International Wholesaler.
