Tiger Airways continues to grow its Australian services with the addition of a new route between Sydney and Brisbane as well as basing a second aircraft at Sydney Airport and recruiting extra staff.
Services on the new route commence today and the new plane at Sydney Airport will also begin operational duties from the beginning of August.
To facilitate its growing business, Tiger Airways Australia is also currently in the process of recruiting 100 new staff members for its bases in Sydney (30 positions) and Melbourne (70 positions); searching for pilots, cabin crew, engineering staff and ground services staff.
“To... sustain our focus on operational excellence, Tiger is now actively looking for new staff in both capital cities,” Tiger Airways head of marketing and communications Vanessa Regan said.
Tiger Airways currently operates eight routes across Australia and expects to increase its daily services across the country from its current 44 to 64 by October this year.
