SOUTH American eco-adventure operator explora is currently running a special travel trade promotion, “Live it to Tell it”, based on the theory that the best way to sell explora lodges to your clients is to immerse yourself in the experience personally.

To assist agents to do this, during August, September and October, explora are offering heavily discounted rates on their three explora lodges, Hotel Salto Chico in Patagonia Chile, Hotel de Larache in the Atacama Desert and Posada de Mike Rapu in Easter Island.

explora is offering industry rates of only US$190 per night per agent and US$240 per night per companion sharing the same room, with a minimum four night stay. This is a discount of approximately 70 per cent off the regular room rate for guests.

Agents and travel industry personnel will be able to travel to the lodges up until October 31, 2012.

Rates include transfers from local airports to the lodge, three meals a day with open bar and daily explorations with guides and equipment, including horses, vehicles and boats.
