The Walshe Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Naylor as Director of Sales in Asia.  Jeff will be based in Walshe Group offices in Hong Kong and will be responsible for business development throughout the region.

The Walshe Group CEO Jacqui Walshe says, “We are extremely pleased  to welcome Jeff back to the Walshe Group.  He has a wealth of experience of the airline industry, the Asian region and Walshe Group itself which makes him ideally suited to assisting our growth efforts in Asia.”

With over 40 years of experience in the aviation industry and 12 years in Asia specifically, Jeff opened the Cathay Pacific office in Johannesburg, launched the Hong Kong – Johannesburg service and worked in Hong Kong as the Global Sales and Distribution Manager.

Jeff first joined Walshe Group as the Commercial Manager for South African Airways (SAA) in 2006, later transferring to Hong Kong as Head of North Asia,  overseeing China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines. This included overseeing the launch of the SAA  Johannesburg to Beijing  service that commenced in January 2012.

The Walshe Group was established in 1976 and is one of the largest specialist airline and destination representation companies in Australasia. The Walshe Group expanded into Hong Kong in 2006 and Singapore in 2007.  Clients in Asia include American Airlines, LAN and IndiGo.
