LAN Airlines is inviting members of the travel industry who love South America to “like” its new Australian Facebook page for the latest destination news and product updates.

The new page enables users to interact with LAN and stay up to date with information about South America.

Johanna Raeder, Marketing Manager for LAN Airlines in Australia, New Zealand and Asia said the Facebook page was part of LAN’s commitment to bring South America closer to Australia. 

“We want to share the magic of South America with Australians, and to receive feedback about our product offering,” said Ms Raeder. 

“Social media is a growing platform for us and we are excited about using Facebook to engage with the travel industry and our customers.”

The page can be found at http://www.facebook.com/lanaustralia and will feature destination information, updates on product offerings, travel advice and competitions.

LAN Airlines operates six weekly onestop flights from Sydney to Santiago, Chile, with onward connections to more than 80 South American destinations.  LAN also offers nonstop flights between Sydney and Santiago every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in a codeshare partnership with Qantas.
