New York city welcomes Australia’s longest running breakfast show “today” for one week of live broadcasting

NYC & Company, New York City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization, will welcome Australia’s longest running breakfast show, Today, on the Nine Network, to New York City. Today will broadcast life the Good Morning America studios in Times Square 8-12 October.

The week-long live broadcast hosted by Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson will uncover all five boroughs – Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island and Manhattan – allowing viewers to experience the cultural richness of New York City.   The show will also feature shopping, Broadway and New York City’s most famed attractions which are all major draw cards for Australian visitors.

Adding to this is NYC & Company’s CEO – George Fertitta - who will make a guest appearance in Times Square to highlight the overall success of NYC tourism including the positive trend of Australian travel to NYC.
