Centennial Parklands in Sydney’s east has developed a fantastic app that will help visitors discover more of the destination than they knew existed. From the ‘What’s On’  tab to the updates on wet weather conditions for those involved in sports on the grounds, this app is sure to come in use to everyone visiting the site.

99c – Think of this more as a donation as the money raised from app downloads will go towards covering the app’s development costs and eventually contribute to upgrades and maintenance around the parklands including tree planting, toilet upgrades, pond restoration, heritage restoration and maintenance of sports fields.

Why We Love It

The GPS map will help visitors find their way around the grand parklands and will no doubt be of use to those searching for a food stand or the nearest toilets.

Lost in Translation

It would have been good if, for example, the session times for Moonlight Cinema were available on the app so as to not get redirected, but such integration is no doubt in the pipeline and should certainly not detract from the purchase of this app.
