Australia’s leading Asia travel specialist, Travel Indochina has reported significant growth for its Japan product.
On the eve of releasing its 2013-14 Japan Handmade Holidays brochure, Travel Indochina has confirmed over 300% year on year sales growth for Japan, with particularly strong results for FIT product.
According to Travel Indochina’s Managing Director, Paul Hole, the growth has not been limited to one segment of the market, but is being seen across a range of budget levels and travel styles.
“Results have been tracking strongly across our signature Small Group Journeys,” says Paul, “while special group sales have also been robust, with several new groups booked just recently.”
“This growth is also being translated to our FIT results, with a significant jump in deluxe bookings in particular. We’re seeing great growth in clients seeking unique deluxe experiences like luxury ryokans.”
“At the other end of the budget scale, we’ve also had considerable interest in our Footloose packages due to the ease of booking and the variety of unique itineraries. Our 11 night ‘Ancient Japan & Snow Monkeys Footloose Adventure’, with its breadth and depth of experiences, has been performing exceptionally well.”
