Sydneysiders can feast on Malaysian delicacies at the Grace Brasserie from 7 October to 29 October, as part of a joint initiative with Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines.
The Flavours of Malaysia Food Festival gives Australians the chance to experience the culinary delights of Malaysia in the heart of Sydney.
Diners also have a chance to win a holiday in Malaysia including return Malaysia Airlines airfares and 2 nights accommodation at The Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
“The dishes served here are synonymous with our food on board,” Malaysia Airlines marketing manager Julia Loong told e-Travel Blackboard.
Award-winning Malaysian chefs have been flown to Sydney especially for the food event, recreating dishes for the Malaysian Prime Minister’s famous cookbook, Tunku’s Kitchen.
According to Tourism Malaysia, food celebrations abound in Malaysia: the Fabulous Food Festival running from now to Christmas; the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival from 1 – 31 October; November’s ASEAN heritage trail; December’s Malaysian Street Food Festival.
