Qantas dismisses twitter reports about A380 crash

Qantas has dismissed reports circulating twitter that one of its Sydney bound A380 aircraft crashed today after exploding in the air near Batam Island, Indonesia.
A Qantas Spokesperson said that QF32 was forced to return to Singapores Changi Airport after experiencing engine problems.
Qantas flight QF32 was en route from Singapore to Sydney, the number two engine has shut down, so as a precautionary measure we are taking it back to Singapore," a Qantas spokeswoman said.
The spokeswomen stressed that there had not been a crash and the 433 passengers and 26 crew have since flown safely back to Singapore. |
