Happiness is an HWT franchisee

Franchisees with leading travel company Harvey World Travel have shown themselves to be a very satisfied lot in a major research project carried out in late 2010.

Managing Director of Harvey World Travel, David Rivers, said “This is major research project conducted by the independent consultancy, The Franchise Relationships Institute.  The results reveal a significant increase in franchisee performance and satisfaction” from the last survey conducted in 2007.
 
The most improved areas for Harvey World Travel, identified by franchisees were leadership, communication and practical support. When it came to communication, 83% believed the HWT management communicates information in an effective manner.

David Rivers says other services that rated highly with franchisees included the Annual Business Symposium, Marketing as well as visits from Business Managers. “It was also gratifying that 85% of franchisees feel the HWT Franchise Support Office is professional to deal with” said Rivers.

“Our franchisees are telling us that, over the past year, marketing and support from Harvey World Travel has helped them greatly.” The results on brand representation were particularly strong, with 81% of franchisees satisfied with the representation of the HWT brand in the market. This was way higher than the franchise sector benchmarks.

The survey achieved a high response rate representing 78% of the network.
