Located directly in the heart of Tokyo and in walking distance to almost everything, The Peninsula Hotel Tokyo really is the gateway to Japan’s capital. Directly across from the Imperial Palace, three minutes from the central shopping hub in Ginza and less than a skip, hop and a jump away from the station it’s no wonder the 314 room accommodation block was honoured as Tokyo’s Landmark Hotel.

Opening its doors less than four years ago, the hotel has gone a long way to establishing itself as the destination for guests from anywhere, travelling to Japan for anything.

Its selection of ten function rooms makes it the prime choice for business travellers from around the globe to meet and greet. Event planners will be in venue heaven as they flip through pamphlets highlighting the Peninsula’s 165 square metre ballroom decorated with diamond glistening chandeliers.

If leisure and family travel is more your thing don’t ride the hotel off as too formal just yet. You can spend the day receiving a muscle relaxing massage or work out in the ultra modern gym fixed with cardio machines of all kinds and a heated indoor swimming pool.

Looking for somewhere to eat after your rigorous workout or soothing day at the spa? The hotel offers guests the choice of four high class variety restaurants with serving sizes large enough to feed a royal court (a little exaggeration to prove my point). For a smaller meal or if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat then try the Peninsula boutique and cafe’. The stop and go cafe’ is like walking through paradise for any chocoholic, with a selection of handmade chocolates, muffins and cakes OH MY.

Once you’ve managed to pull your eyes and drooling mouth away from the cafe’ guests looking to enjoy a night in can choose from the hotel’s hip Peter lounge bar or veg out in the luxuriously spacious rooms filled with all the latest gadgets and gizmos.

With a flat screen TV located in the bathroom, the array of friendly and well presented staff and never ending selection things to try, the Peninsula Hotel Tokyo is the hotel that you will never want to leave.
