Tramada Systems wants all its customers to be assured that it has made changes to its industry leading mid office software to ensure agents can easily account for airlines and routes where commission is paid on fuel surcharges. Airline announcements that they are paying commission to agents on fuel charges is welcome news indeed but it can be an administrative burden to agencies whose mid office software isn’t updated to account for the changes. BSP reconciliation can be a nightmare with many small errors to adjust and commission and revenue reports may not be accurate without a system update. Leith Mills, Tramada’s Head of Sales, described the development “as tangible evidence that tramada® remains the most responsive mid office system for the needs of Australian and New Zealand travel agents.” She went on to explain, “When we first heard these changes were likely we quickly talked about how and when we could implement the changes. We knew it had to be configurable by our clients by carrier and we immediately commenced development to account for this change.” She concluded by explaining, “of course we also had to ensure that the updates apply to both the tramada® classic system and the next generation software so that all our clients would benefit from this enhancement.” Jo O’Brien, Tramada’s CEO concluded, ‘As tramada® is software as a service and delivered via the internet all clients systems can be updated at the same time overnight and this will be completed for both systems prior to 1 July 2011.’ |
