It was another bumper week in cruising with Norwegian not only releasing the very impressive balance of images of their ‘Project Breakaway’ staterooms but also celebrating the first cut of steel for Norwegian Breakaway.

The campaign of excitement by the line has been interesting to follow and I only hope that this build up of anticipation will be as climactic on the ships’ launches as it is now.

Brisbane welcomed Sun Princess this week to commence her inaugural season home porting in the city with Princess Cruises heralding her arrival as the start of the Australian summer cruising season.

Whilst Australian passenger numbers continue to increase rapidly, my hope is that international passengers see the itinerary options presented by a wider variety of cruise lines as the perfect excuse to visit our side of the world.

Where are you heading on your next cruise? Will you be sailing locally or experiencing cruising in the northern hemisphere?

Yours in cruising,
Natalie
