From the moment you step aboard you’re greeted by the warm, welcoming smiles of the China Airline’s crew. The distinctive colour scheme, chosen from the airline’s plum blossom flower logo, radiates its purple hue from the crew’s uniform though to the cabin interior. This delightful theme imbues a truly Taiwanese ambience, and so it should, as China Airlines is the national flag carrier of Taiwan.

Officially ranked as a SKYTRAX 4 Star airline, and with a network servicing 98 destinations in 29 countries across Asia, Oceania, Europe or North America, China Airlines is the perfect choice for leisure or business travel.

From the 28th September 2011 China Airlines formerly join SkyTeam the world’s second largest airline alliance. Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport will become a global SkyTeam hub offering seamless connections and greater code share flight options for China Airlines’ customers. Becoming the 15th SkyTeam airline member the new network will increase China Airline’s reach across 14,000 flights to over 900 destinations in 169 countries.

With one of the youngest aircraft fleets in the world China Airlines operate 68 aircraft including B747-400, A340-300, A330-300, B737-800 and B747-400F Freighters. All passenger aircraft operate in a two class configuration except for the B747’s which, have been recently retrofitted in a major upgrade of cabin amenities, operate in a three class configuration
China Airlines’ Dynasty lounges will also become part of the SkyTeam network of 460 lounges worldwide available to first and business class passengers, “Dynasty” frequent flyers and from 28 September SkyTeam “Elite” members.
