I added another item to my ‘cruising bucket list’ this week…a wedding at sea.
It’s something I have considered when I do find that special someone but the idea resurfaced in my mind with Cunard considering the re-registering of their ships outside of the UK to facilitate the option of mid-ocean weddings for passengers.
There really isn’t anything more romantic in my books!
Carnival took to the streets of Sydney this week in a different and very novel way…in an ice cream truck. Delivering free ice cream to agents and passersby was a great idea but I’m not too sure about the flavours on offer.
‘Bananamite’, combining bananas with cult-classic Vegemite, and ‘Balsamberry’, combining strawberries and balsamic vinegar just doesn’t really tickle my taste buds I have to say!
I’m sure that the 24-hour free ice cream onboard Carnival Spirit will offer a more traditional variety of flavours when she heads down under next year though...at least I hope so!
Yours in cruising,
Natalie
