Windstar Recognized by Condé Nast Traveler as a “Top Small-Ship Cruise Line”

In 2011 Annual Reader’s Choice Awards

Windstar Cruises, which operates a fleet of three luxury sailing yachts that explore hidden harbours and secluded coves of the world’s most treasured destinations, was voted a “Top Small-Ship Cruise Line” in Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s annual Reader’s Choice Awards for 2011 ranking the best cruise lines, cities, islands, airlines, hotels and resorts worldwide.

Windstar’s commitment to providing guests with a luxurious, unique, boutique yacht holiday has consistently placed Windstar on the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler list year after year.

Windstar’s fleet refurbishment plan will be completed in phases beginning this year with each yacht receiving new furniture, upholstery, art, lighting, wall coverings, carpeting, ceiling finishes, window treatments, and floor coverings, elevating the look and feel to ultimate luxury at sea.

In addition to the Condé Nast Traveler honour, Windstar Cruises has been recognized by some of the most notable names in the travel and lifestyle world in 2011. Celebrated Living, American Airlines’ prestigious publication for first class passengers,named Windstar Cruises “Top Small-Ship/Midsize Cruise Line” on their Platinum Listfor the fifth time in a row. Earlier this year, Windstar Cruises was listed on Condé Nast Traveler’s Annual Gold List of “Best Cruise Lines” and all three Windstar yachts were recognized in Condé Nast Traveler’s “Best Small Ships” Reader’s Poll. Windstar was also selected by Travel + Leisure as one of the top five “World’s Best Small-Ship Cruise Lines.”
