For many years MTA had used a custom version of AFTA’s Webmail to help distribute daily product information to its mobile team.

The recent demise of Webmail prompted us to replace the system with a state of the art in-house solution to the age old problem of cutting down the huge level of email arriving daily into busy frontline travel consultant’s email in-boxes.

The new MTA mail system dubbed “Mobile Travel Alerts” was successfully launched on 01 November and provided a seamless changeover.

“Mobile Travel Alerts” distributes daily product updates, overnight in a single email that summarises the day’s specials from our participating supplier partners.  It also has the capability of blasting a newsflash when events call for that.
