Le Boat announced a significant investment in new boats for 2012, along with the refurbishments of 145 of our most popular boat models. This season will also bring the option of a hybrid or non-hybrid version of the innovative Le Boat Vision, which was introduced last year. The comfort and ease of operation of this boat will set the standard for inland waterway cruising for the future.
Cheryl Powell, Le Boat’s Chief Operating Officer, says: “We are delighted to be expanding our fleet and continuing to lead the industry in providing the most comfortable boats, largest choice of boat models and cruising routes.”
The Vision
After a highly successful launch in summer 2011, the Vision, part of the 1500 Series, will see an expansion of its offering so that customers are able to choose from a hybrid or non-hybrid model. The Vision Hybrid offers customers the opportunity to enjoy ‘silent’ cruising, fantastic fuel efficiency saving an estimated 2 hours fuel per day and the chance to experience the latest in green technology. Both models have a light, airy and modern interior feel and offer those travelling aboard the opportunity to enjoy luxurious group space as well as the privacy of designer cabins, each with their own en-suite bath, flat screen TV, air conditioning plus kitchen with full size modern appliances. An upper and lower steering area provide a full range of options in all climates and a, large outside seating area with gas grill allow full enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings. A powerful bow thruster allows one to easily manoeuvre the boat along with the innovation and ease of using a joy stick for docking.
Available in France and Germany, there will be a total of 62 new boats joining the fleet in time for the 2012 high season.
The Mystique
Another boat that will see a significantly increased presence on the waterways of Europe is the highly popular Mystique. This stylish boat, which sleeps up to six people, boasts a comfortable saloon complete with 17”LCD TV, DVD player, music system and air conditioning throughout, making it the perfect boat for a family or group of friends looking to cruise in complete comfort thanks to all the latest technology. The 13 new boats will be operating from Le Boat’s bases in France, Holland and Germany.
The Royal Mystique
The Royal Mystique accommodates the same stylish and modern features as the Mystique, while providing a more intimate option for two couples or a small family. Two spacious en-suite cabins, a roomy sundeck with hotplate and cool box and a fully-fitted kitchen provide home-from-home comfort, spacious living and practical convenience for even the most discerning of boater.
Le Boat customers will be able to enjoy the 13 new Royal Mystiques in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Boat Refurbishments
In addition to the investment in new boats, Le Boat will also be upgrading a number of the existing fleet with complete refurbishments, which will include boat exteriors, engines, galley, upholstery, bathrooms and bedrooms as well as upgrading the electronics with new MP3/IPOD functionality and adding TV and DVD equipment. The refurbishing programme will include a total of 145 boats, which will be ready for the 2012 cruising season and will include a number of the Elegance, Clipper, Royal Classique, Classique Star and Grand Classique models.
