Jimeoin

Monday, 14 November 2011

Funnyman Jimeoin took some time out of a visit ‘back home’ to chat to e-Travel Blackboard about his favourite destination…his homeland of Northern Ireland.

e-Travel Blackboard: You’ve recently worked with Tourism Ireland to promote Northern Ireland. What’s your favourite thing to do when travelling ‘back home’?

Jimeoin: I’m here now in Northern Ireland, lying in the bed I grew up in my parents’ house. Playing Golf on Portstewart with my Dad would have to be it. Although lying in this bed is pretty good.

e-Travel Blackboard: What tips can you share with our readers when travelling to Northern Ireland?

Jimeoin: Bring an umberella. Don't mention the war and carry Sterling as they don't have the Euro. Stick to the path and beware of the moon. And may the force be with you.

e-Travel Blackboard:  What is your favourite pub to visit?

Jimeoin: The Crown in Belfast is hard to beat

e-Travel Blackboard: What is your favourite restaurant to dine at?

Jimeoin: I like to eat at home. My mother’s food is something to die for. Literally.

e-Travel Blackboard:  What is your favourite place of interest to visit?

Jimeoin: A drive through the Antrim Glens is special. The whole coast line is amazing.

e-Travel Blackboard:  As a comedian, you have travelled extensively around the world, what other destinations do you like to visit when having some ‘time out’?

Jimeoin: I went for a drive through Italy and I intend to do it again this time next year for a nice holiday.

Jimeoin will be performing in Brisbane from 8-18 December 2011. Click here to book tickets.
