Wednesday, 16 November 2011

Sabre Travel Network, a global technology company serving travel suppliers and agencies announced the renewal of its contract with long-standing customer Concierge Travel Group. This renewal reaffirms the agency's preference for the Sabre Global Distribution System and strengthens a long-term partnership between one of Australia’s leading travel management companies and the world's leading GDS.

Through this five year deal, Sabre Pacific will continue to provide the Concierge Travel Group with access to more than 400 airlines, 100,000 hotels, 25 car rental brands, 50 rail providers and 13 cruise lines offering the Travel Management Company more flexibility, speed and choice to clients.

Sabre Pacific CEO, Gai Tyrrell, says “The deal with the Concierge Travel Group is the most recent achievement in an almost decade-long relationship with the company.”

The deal will see Concierge Travel Group tap into a wide range of products to create their total travel solution, including the Sabre Red Workspace, Sabre Online, Sabre Intelligent Ticketing, Agency Fares, Traveler Security, PNR Finishing Tool, Web Services and Sabre Agency Manager.

Concierge Travel Group, Executive General Manager, Mary Gava, says adopting Sabre's range of services, from account management through to 24/7 helpdesk, will allow CTG to promote further efficiency.

"We place a great deal of value on our long term partnership with Sabre. The new agreement will see our companies work closely over the next few years to make full use of Sabre's locally-developed and highly innovative travel tools and in doing so, drive forward our business," says Gava.
