Save 10-20 Minutes per Transaction with Sabre’s New Automated Exchanges

Tuesday, 6 December 2011

Sabre Pacific, a global technology company serving travel suppliers and agencies, has released Automated Exchanges for the Sabre Red Efficiency Suite, saving agencies across the South Pacific around 10-20 minutes every time they reissue a ticket.

In conjunction with the release, Sabre-connected agencies will be able to use Automated Exchanges free of charge until 29 February, 2012.

GM Sales Sabre Pacific, Carl Frier, says the product takes the complexity out of what is one of the most time-intensive and difficult transactions agencies perform on a daily basis.

"Automated Exchanges recalculates airfares in real-time, and what’s more, the product is included in our fare guarantee policy to subscribers. As a result, agents stand to make huge efficiency and profit gains, while providing their customers with the assurance that they're receiving only the very best reissue price," says Frier.

Automated Exchanges also features a comprehensive range of content. With around 70 airlines in the product, up to 80% of tickets qualify for Automated Exchanges.

“Automated Exchanges has proven immensely popular with our subscribers as it has been rolled out around the world. We are excited to now be rolling this product out in our region especially with the unique modifications that have been made to the product for our market. For example, the Australian version of the product automates the calculation of GST on the ticket change fee directly into workflow, making the user experience even more streamlined," adds Frier.
