Melbourne was the place to be yesterday as over 760 industry professionals packed the Crown Palladium for the years big event Christmas TraveLeague.

Over 760 travel industry professionals gathered at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne yesterday for the 2011 Virgin Australia Christmas TraveLeague networking event.

Breaking the record of previous years, Christmas TraveLeague was alive with many local, interstate and several international visitors presenting themselves in their best attire. With no spare seat in the room, the energy was electrifying from the entertainment to mouth-watering cuisine and of course the crazy moves on the dance floor.

There were several prizes up for grabs including business class tickets flying Virgin Australia to LA, $500 travel money cards from CBA, tickets to NZ flying Air New Zealand, Greece package with Sun Island Tours, Eurail Global Pass through Rail Plus and much more.

Also in true Christmas spirit, many donated to the charity of choice being MND Victoria (Motor Neurone Disease).
