Regal Kowloon Hotel conducted a five-day Charity event selling Hot Chestnuts from 12 – 16 December in the hotel and raised a total of HK$20,000.60. All proceeds generated were donated to the Children's Cancer Foundation. All Senior Members of the Management Team dressed up as Santa Claus and Santarina’s for the fund raising event to bring the festive joy to our guests. All had great fun and the guests loved it ! "As a responsible corporate citizen, we should care for the less fortunate in the community especially the children. Christmas is a perfect time to show our love and care to them. I am delighted to see my teams' contribution and guests' generous support to this campaign and we will keep this as an on-going mission to be thoughtful for our community." said Mr. John A. Girard, General Manager of Regal Kowloon Hotel. The Children's Cancer Foundation's main objectives are to supplement the services provided by the Hospital Authority, to help doctors increase survival rates, and to enhance the quality of life of all children suffering from cancer, in caring for their physical, psychological and social well-being. |
