Panagiotoulias joins Sabre from American Airlines

Theo Panagiotoulias has been appointed Sabre Airline Solutions’ new Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, Panagiotoulias is responsible for the general management of all commercial and business activities for Sabre Airline Solutions, which operates the industry’s largest Software-as-a-Service business.

Panagiotoulias has held various executive and management positions across the region over the last 15 years in both the airline and travel industries. His most recent role was Vice President & Managing Director – Asia Pacific for American Airlines based in Tokyo.

“I am genuinely excited to have been given the opportunity to lead and expand Sabre’s business presence across the Asia/Pacific region. We have a strong, talented and knowledgeable team of experts across the region and look forward to sharing Sabre’s expertise with airline and airport partners to give them the freedom to better market, sell, serve and operate the way they want,” said Panagiotoulias.

Panagiotoulias, a native of Melbourne, studied at Campion British International School in Athens, Greece and is a graduate of Haileybury College in Melbourne, Australia. Most recently, he also completed the Advance Executive Leadership Programme at Cambridge University.
