The hotel Group is trekking into the Philippines, announcing it will open its first branded hotel in country’s Makati Avenue, Metro Manila. Expected to open its doors from last quarter 2013, the four-star Worldhotel and Residences Makati will house up to 252 guest rooms and 72 suites and is part of the property Worldhotels’ global plans. “The branded hotel solution offers one of the most flexible models in the world for upscale independent properties and hotel groups, enabling them to position themselves internationally in the face of competition from global hospitality brands,” Worldhotels vice president Asia-Pacific Roland Jegge said. As well as guestrooms, the property will also include 149 services apartments, four restaurants, two bars, a ballroom, gym, spa lounge and meetings room. |
