What drew you to work in the cruise industry?
The opportunity to build a great business in a quickly expanding industry during an exciting period of growth and innovation.

What do you like most about your job?
The cruise industry in Australia and New Zealand is such a positive industry to be associated with and it is rewarding to work with people are engaged and passionate about their jobs.

“Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life” really is the motto for our industry.

Who do you admire and see as a role model in the cruise industry?
Our Chairman & CEO, Mr Torstein Hagen, is a role model to me for his passion for development and innovation and for his strategic insight and courage.

What do you want to see improve in the cruise industry?
More ICCA accredited agents!

What destinations are on your travel bucket list?
Antarctica is on top of my bucket list closely followed by Rwanda to visit the mountain gorillas.

What is the most memorable travel experience that you’ve had?
Snorkelling with Orcas along the Norwegian coast in the middle of winter was something quite out of the ordinary.

What are three things you must always take with you when you cruise?
Of course a camera, good shoes for walking and a nice notebook to write down memories along the way.

Name someone famous you’d like to cruise with and which ship you’d like to take them on.
On board the coming Viking Ocean Cruises and wouldn’t it be lovely to travel with world explorer Sir David Attenborough and world peace keeper former Secretary General Kofi Annan.
