Flight Review: Lufthansa Munich to Barcelona – LH1810

Wednesday, 4 July 2012

Flight Details:

Lufthansa A321 – LH1810
15 June 2012
Munich to Barcelona, Economy – Seat 29F

Configuration:

3-3 in economy class

Check In and Luggage Allowance:

I was travelling from a connecting flight so there was no need to check in my luggage again.

The 30 minutes I had in between flights was spent enjoying a complimentary herbal tea from their self service cafe and the free wifi made available to Lufthansa passengers.

30 minutes of free wifi was made on offer at Munich Airport unlike the 15 minutes offered at Charles de Gaulle.

On Time Service:

The flight departed twenty minutes late and arrived in Barcelona at 11:25am.

Cabin/Seat Condition:

The seats were comfortable and identical to the three other flights I have taken with Lufthansa this week.

I had a couple of lovely German ladies sitting next to me so I refrained from sleeping on this flight but would have been very comfortable should I have decided to.

Food and Beverage:

I devoured the delectable white and milk chocolate cookie on offer with the complimentary beverage service. It just melted in your mouth and was such a hit with the passengers that the flight attendants walked around with extras for those who had to satisfy their sweet tooth a little bit more!

Entertainment:

Once again, there were no entertainment options on this aircraft apart from their inflight magazine.

Service:

The flight attendants were courteous, friendly and generous with the beverage and food offering.

As per my other flights, they were all multilingual which really adds to the European flying experience.
