Thursday, 20 September 2012

Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast has again been recognised as one of the state's best conference hotels, winning the Gold Award in the Meetings and Business Tourism category at the recent 2012 Hunter Central Coast Tourism Awards. This is the second consecutive year that Mercure Kooindah Waters has received this award, which was followed by a Silver Award win in the same category at the 2011 NSW Tourism Awards.

"This is an outstanding achievement for our resort and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team," said Jessie Sheehan, General Manager, Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast.

"To win this prestigious award for the second consecutive year is an honour for our staff who work exceptionally hard to provide the highest calibre of service to all our guests. It is important to acknowledge their commitment to maintaining our reputation as a first-class venue for conferencing excellence," said Ms. Sheehan.

Mercure Kooindah Waters is now a finalist in the New South Wales Tourism Awards for Excellence, which will be held in November.

Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast features six light-filled, purpose-built meeting venues with contemporary break-out areas, a dedicated coordinator for each event and outstanding resort facilities, including an 18-hole golf course designed by Ross Watson, an endota day spa, Karinyas Restaurant and Wine Bar, indoor lap pool, spa, sauna, outdoor leisure pool, tennis courts and gymnasium.  It caters for a wide range of meetings and events, including major conferences for national companies and associations, product and car launches and weddings.
