New Senior Vice President for Wyndham’s Resort Operations and Property Development

A new Senior Vice President of Resort Operations and Property Development has been recruited for both Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific and Wyndham Hotel Group.
Matt Taplin will relocate to the Wyndham Corporate Centre on the Gold Coast from New Zealand where he has worked in the hotel industry for more than 25 years.
Mr Taplin has extensive experience in a variety of roles across different locations and has a proven record of building and leading large and diverse hotel teams.

In his previous role as Vice President of Operations at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Ltd he was responsible for the overall operation and performance of 30 owned, managed or franchised hotels with more than 1,200 employees.
In his role with Wyndham, Mr Taplin will be responsible for a team of approximately 540 employees in resort operations and property development across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
He will report directly to the CEO and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, Barry Robinson.
