Condé Nast Traveler readers have chosen The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs as the #1 Lodge/Resort in New Zealand in the 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards survey.

The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs ranks #3 (up from #6 last year) on the 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards list of Top 100 Hotels Overall with an outstanding score of 99.2!  A record 46,746 readers participated this year in the annual survey.  It is the only New Zealand lodge to make the list.

This is the 25th annual survey.  Hotel rankings are based on ratings in the following categories:  Rooms, Service, Food, Location, Design, Activities. The complete 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards survey results will be featured in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler.
