Copper Mountain, Colorado, USA, will welcome its 40th season in the skiing business this Friday, Nov. 2, when the chairlift starts turning for the 2012/2013 snow season. Guests can experience riding and skiing off of the American Eagle chairlift and two Woodward at Copper terrain parks with 20 features and several jumps, catering to all ability levels. New this season, Copper Mountain’s Alpine Rush Zip Line will allow two guests to fly side-by-side as they soar 30 feet above Copper’s bustling West Lake ice skating rink. The flight travels 300 feet across the lake, reaching speeds of up to 30mph. Alpine Rush makes the perfect addition to Copper’s intimate, pedestrian-only Village, which also features restaurants, shopping and comfortable lodging, all within walking distance to the lifts. |
