Hunter Valley on show this summer

Tourism Hunter held a media event in Sydney showcasing the Hunter Valley’s exclusive experiences, amazing attractions and exciting upcoming events.

Representatives from Barrington Tops, Maitland Tourism, Hunter Valley Wine Country Tourism, Chateau Elan at the Vintage, Cypress Lakes, Hermitage Lodge, Hunter Valley Gardens, Imagine Cruises, Lake Macquarie Tourism, Moonshadow Cruises, Shoal Bay Resort and Spa, Newcastle Tourism and Newcastle Airport were present.

Tourism Hunter marketing manager Jo Thomas presented guests with an extensive array of prizes, featuring some of the incredible offerings available in the Hunter Valley.

Nineteen Hunter Valley tourism operators have been nominated as finalists in the highly contested 2012 NSW Tourism Awards, which will be held in Sydney next month.

The Hunter Valley is warming up for a bountiful summer season, including the annual Christmas Lights Spectacular at Hunter Valley Gardens, the Bitter and Twisted International Boutique Beer Festival in Maitland, the Jack Newton Celebrity Classic at Cypress Lakes and Sculpture in the Vineyards, Australia's largest outdoor sculpture exhibition.
