Tiger adds extra flights for Christmas and New Year
Following on from Tiger's return to Tasmania and South Australia last week, the airline is putting on a small number of additional flights between Melbourne and Adelaide and Melbourne and Sydney to cater for extra demand over the coming festive season.
One additional flight between Melbourne and Adelaide will depart Melbourne Airport Tullamarine at 3:40 pm and return from Adelaide at 5:00 pm on 22/26 and 27 December 2012.
An additional Melbourne - Sydney service will be added early in the new year on 01 and 02 January 2013, departing Melbourne at 2:10 pm and returning from Sydney at 4:05 pm.
Tiger Airways Commercial Director, Carly Brear, says the additional flights will provide a welcome boost for holiday makers who are still looking to book their flights ahead of the festive season.
"Given the high demand for flights over December and early January, we are delighted we can provide people with even further opportunity to take advantage of great value fares, perhaps to travel home to visit loved ones or simply take advantage of a break away somewhere over the holiday season."
