United staff visits Westmead Children's Hospital

Thursday, 8 November 2012

United Airlines staff visited the Children’s Hospital at Westmead on October 23, volunteering to put a smile on sick kids’ faces with the donation and delivery of over 70 Oliver D World bears to the hospital. With only an hour to do the rounds at the hospital, it was an extremely humbling experience. The children and their parents were very grateful; one little girl didn’t have her favourite toy to take into the operation with her, so Oliver D World came at a perfect time for her. The father of another sick little boy, Oliver, was grateful for the bear with his son’s name and pleased with the generosity of United staff.
