For the third year in a row Virgin Australia’s comprehensive domestic travel insurance product has been awarded CANSTAR’s 5-star rating in the independent ratings agency’s 2012 travel insurance survey.

The rating acknowledges the outstanding value Virgin Australia offers Australian travellers out of 41 domestic travel insurance policies.

Virgin Australia’s Comprehensive Domestic policy provides cover for cancellation fees and lost deposits, additional accommodation and travel expenses, loss or damage of luggage and personal effects, a travel delay allowance and rental vehicle excess.*

“Our customers understand the importance of quality insurance, not just in price but in product benefits.

For our customers, this independent affirmation provides peace of mind that they are getting top level cover for an affordable price,” Ms Crompton said.
