Hill+Knowlton Strategies appoints Michael Woods as Country Manager, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Michael Woods as Country Manager, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi).

Michael joins the team with more than 15 years travel industry related experience, most recently from Sydney-based agency GtiTourism where he worked as Marketing and Sales Manager, Australia and New Zealand for the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority. “We are delighted that Michael has joined our team,” said Sue Cook, Managing Director, Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

“Michael’s in-depth knowledge of the Australian travel market spanning retail, wholesale and destination marketing, along with his strong industry contacts will be valuable in helping his team raise awareness of Abu Dhabi amongst trade, media and consumers.”

Before GtiTourism, Michael spent seven years with Garuda Orient Holidays as Marketing Manager, and prior to that several years as Product Manager, Consumer Marketing with Thomas Cook.
