“Green the World - A Regal Christmas” Culinary Temptations at Regal Kowloon Hotel

Season’s greetings from Regal Kowloon Hotel! This year, we have prepared you a Green Christmas with lots of organic and low-carbon festive cuisines for your enjoyment. Let’s show our love to the planet this joyful season.

In June, we have set up an organic farm at our garden for growing organic veggies and herbs including basil, Thai basil, chili and lemongrass. In response to the theme “Green the World?A Regal Christmas”, our Executive Chef Ray Lam has specially used the harvests for preparing the festive delicacies to excite your palate.

Besides, a variety of fabulous festive programmes are ready for your celebration!

Christmas Carol Singing
Choir performances will be staged at the Hotel Lobby on 24 & 25 December.
24 Dec - performed by Hong Kong Treble Choir from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
25 Dec - performed by Canossa Primary School (San Po Kong) from 12:30pm to 1:30pm

New Year’s Eve Countdown Party
To welcome the New Year, join our countdown party at Lobby. Deluxe 6-course set dinner, dance floor and live music are arranged to usher in 2013!

Charity Chestnut Sales 2012
Regal Kowloon Hotel will conduct a five-day Charity Chestnut Sales from 17-21 December in the hotel. All proceeds generated will be donated to the Children's Cancer Foundation. All of our staff will dress up in Santa Claus and Santa Rena costumes during the fund raising event to bring festive joy to our guests.

Festive Gourmet Delights

At the Regal Kowloon Hotel, you can enjoy delicate festive cuisine with excellent dining venues, luxurious services as well as festive early bird privileges!

Café Allegro is delighted to present “Green Christmas” Dinner Buffet with around 50 gastronomic temptations and highlights of organic and low-carbon delicacies. The salad bar provides 20 types of organic ingredients such as tomato, Romain lettuce, sweet corn, red kidney bean and beet root, which are delivered from local organic farm with no chemical fertilizer. Together with the 4 home-made organic sauces, you can savour the freshness of these veggies. Reduction of energy consumption and carbon release is our principle in designing the festive menus. Local and seasonal ingredients as well as the produces from our own organic farm are chosen to prepare the dishes. The chili is used for Poached Salmon with Strawberry Salsa while the basil is chosen to make the pesto sauce for Pan-fried King Prawn with Organic Pesto Lemon Cream Sauce. Natural volcanic salt is selected for Flamed Jumbo Scallop with Volcanic Salt to slightly enrich the taste of fresh scallop. Stir-fried Clam with Lemongrass, Basil and Garlic is another tempting item using the harvests from organic farm. For our festive desserts, try out Lime Sweet Basil Mousse with Strawberry and Swiss Carrot Cake. Seasonal berries and basil as well as local carrots are picked for preparing these mouth-watering choices. Other festive delicacies are also served on the buffet table including Turkey, Lobster Thermidor, Pan-fried Foie Gras with Homemade Apple Compote on French Baguette, Duck Liver Terrine with Brioche and Figs Jam, Parma Ham with Golden Melon and Grissini, Honey Glazed Bone Ham with Pineapple Gravy, Swiss Raclette with Potato, Christmas Log Cake, Stolen, Christmas Pudding with Brandy Vanilla Sauce,etc.

For any patronage at Café Allegro, each guest can enjoy a complimentary glass of organic mint tea for refreshing mind before savoring the scrumptious festive cuisines.

American Steakhouse - Mezzo Grill warmly presents the “Green Christmas” Semi-buffet Dinner, offering an array of organic and low-carbon delicacies. You can enjoy an exciting variety of organic salad bar and seafood appetizers from the extensive buffet tables as well as various choices of main courses and desserts. Local seabass with home-made basil butter are chosen to prepare the Pan-seared Seabass with Wild Mushroom Risotto and Herbs Butter. The fish fillet is cooked on low fire in order to maintain the nutrition value and avoid overusing energy. Other festive dishes including Seafood on Ice, Smoked Turkey Breast Rolls with Orange-cranberry Compote, Black Pepper Tuna Tataki with Matsuhisa Dressing, Vine Tomato & Mozzarella Cheese with Basil Oil, etc. are also available for your celebration.

Regal Court specializes in traditional Cantonese favourites in "Old Guangzhou" style and authentic Sichuan delicacies, as well as splendid dim sum in an exquisite setting. You can still enjoy a series of authentic Chinese dishes prepared by our Chinese Executive Wong Hoi Ming during festive period.
