The Accommodation Association of Australia has announced a new date for the Accommodation Achievers’ Awards to be held on Monday 10 December 2012.

The awards ceremony to be hosted by TV & radio sports presenter, Tony Squires, will be combined with the Accommodation Association’s end of year seasonal celebration at the Marble Bar, Hilton Sydney from 7pm-9pm.

In a change from the conventional awards format, this year entrants in seven people-based categories have been asked to submit a three minute video of themselves outlining the favourite part of their role, the skills they’ve acquired and their passion for the industry.

Winning videos will be screened on the night, in what promises to be a fun-packed, fast paced cocktail-style event. In addition, the HOSTPLUS ACES Awards will recognise outstanding contributions from industry individuals. Prizes include Apple iPods and iPads in addition to a number of lucky draw prizes.

The Accommodation Achievers’ Awards aims to uncover new industry talent and give the hardworking people of Australia’s accommodation industry an opportunity to shine.
