Australian travellers spoilt for choice with two new BIG4 Holiday Parks

Monday, 26 November 2012

Australia’s favourite holiday park provider, BIG4 Holiday Parks, has strengthened its already robust network by adding two new properties to its portfolio, giving travellers even more options when choosing to holiday across Australia.

The newest additions to the BIG4 family are BIG4 Casino Resort in New South Wales and BIG4 Hopkins River Holiday Park in Warrnambool, Victoria.
From humble beginnings in 1979, with just four dedicated caravan park owners in Ballarat Victoria, BIG4 has grown to over 180 parks and seen the industry evolve to become much more than the basic caravan parks that were synonymous with Australian summers in the 1970s and 80s.

BIG4 continues to set the holiday park standard, with BIG4 Casino Resort offering activities for the whole family including a swimming pool, golf course and bowling green, while the picturesque BIG4 Hopkins River Holiday Park boasts access to a huge range of resort-style facilities, including an undercover heated pool and spa, games room, gym, table tennis, tennis court, playgrounds and a mini-golf course.

Following last year’s lift on BIG4’s previous no dog policy, the two new parks are proud to welcome dogs on site. BIG4 Casino Resort has taken an extra step by offering an off-leash dog park so four-legged friends can enjoy a holiday too.

BIG4 CEO Ray Schleibs says he is excited to welcome the two fantastic new parks to the BIG4 group, and acknowledges the increased standard in holiday parks across Australia, particularly within the BIG4 group.

“These two outstanding operators underpin what the BIG4 brand promise is all about: excellence in customer service, park presentation, superior facilities, cleanliness and safety, and ultimately, delivering a unique holiday experience in diverse Australian locations,” says Ray.

“Not only do we as a group benefit from having parks of such a high calibre join BIG4, these parks in turn benefit from the reputation BIG4 has built and the marketing support available to our Member Parks. We look forward to working with each park to further build on the success of their business as the domestic travel industry continues to grow,” adds Ray.
