Celebrating excellence never looked as glamorous as it did than at this year’s NTIA awards, which brought together more than 800 of the crème de la crème of the travel industry to the Westin Hotel in Sydney on Saturday night.
The glitzy affair, hosted by Larry Emdur and Laura Corston, marked the first for new AFTA leader, Justin Westbury, who said “tonight we can make the travel industry of Australia the best it can be, working together as an industry”.
Moving forward, he said “AFTA is looking for the best model to lead the industry over the next 20 years”.
He also announced Mike Thompson had been elected as AFTA Chairman at the annual AGM, which was held earlier in the day.
