Cathay Pacific’s current Business
Class on longhaul flights

Voted year after year as one of the leading airlines in the world, and in 2006 the “Airline of the year”, Cathay Pacific is renowned for its quality and service for both leisure and business travel.

It is this high standard that guests can expect from the moment they check in.  With quick and prompt service, Business Class guests are invited to relax in the lounge before boarding their flights.

In Australia, the Business Class lounge is situated inside Qantas’ Lounge, but in Hong Kong, Business Class guests can indulge in The Pier or The Wing which is complete everything needed to start your journey, and even its own special noodle bar.  The Wing also features five Cabanas - lavish spa rooms where passengers can rejuvenate themselves before a long flight or settle down for a soak in an enormous bathtub.

Everything in Business Class is geared towards guests’ personal needs, to ensure the trip is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

After boarding, Business Class guests are treated to a welcome cocktail, or a “Cathay Delight” a refreshing combination of mint and kiwi juice.

Cathay Pacific will introduce new Business Class seats in 2007 on some long-haul services, but currently passengers on the Sydney to Hong Kong return service can experience optimum comfort with a 60” pitch that allows travellers to stretch out and relax.

A special lumbar cushion to support the back and an adjustable head-rest with special wings for added privacy and comfort completes the seat design.  Personal reading lights and water bottle holder shows no attention to detail has been spared.

For those who enjoy watching movies on flights, Cathay Pacific Business Class will leave you spoilt for choice.  With non-stop entertainment, a recent upgrade on in-flight entertainment allows guests to enjoy up to 50 movies and more than 100 television shows on demand.  CX Choice is packed with award-winning movies, and with noise canceling headsets, passengers will not miss any of the excitement.

Whilst watching movie after movie, indulge in some of the finest in-flight meals available.  Meals are served on low, flat-topped trolleys so making choices is easy with an eye-level view of what’s on offer.

Celebrating 60 years of servicing Hong Kong, 100 special dishes have been offered this year; with some being a collaboration of meals with Hong Kong’s leading Chinese restaurants.

As the airline moves into its 61st year, passengers can look forward to an even more luxurious experience.
