The early bird gets the conference deal at Hotel Ibis Townsville and Mercure Townsville with a $44 per person day delegate rate being offered for January and February bookings.

The price includes room hire, tea and coffee on arrival, morning and afternoon tea and a working lunch.

Mercure Townsville, a resort style hotel located close to the city and 2km from the airport, is the winner of  the 2012 Meetings and Business Tourism Award, the third year in succession it has claimed the award.

Its conference facilities can cater for up to 380 people and are set among 4.5 hectares of  tropical gardens.
