Air Mauritius is pleased to announce it will resume its flights to Sydney from July 2010.

Manoj R K Ujoodha, G.O.S.K., CEO of Air Mauritius says “We are delighted to be flying again to Sydney from July 2010. Our pattern of operations from that date will include a direct flight to Perth and a direct flight to Melbourne/Sydney. This represents a 100% increase in capacity on our Australian operations in response to forecasted increase in demand. We would like to thank our customers and the travel trade for their support during these two difficult years for the airline industry worldwide. We are particularly thankful to the Mauritian community in Australia, and in New South Wales in particular, for their loyalty to the national airline. We are now back on the path of growth and will continue to play our role in promoting tourism between Mauritius and Australia, developing Mauritius as a hub and acting as a bridge between our region and Australia.”
