TravelManagers has formed a special partnership with Australia's largest and leading travel industry travel club, Breakaway. In addition to receiving savings of up to 75 per cent of retail value on a huge variety of products including airfares, accommodation, car rental, cruising, travel insurance and duty free, TravelManagers’ executive general manager, Mandy Scotney says a special membership opportunity has been created for any new personal travel managers joining TravelManagers.

“The membership fee has been waived for anyone joining us as a personal travel manager prior to 1 July. They will receive a minimum of 18 months free membership through to 31 December 2013 from the date they join up.”

The personal travel managers will receive a Breakaway ID Card with the TravelManagers logo on it, entitling access to travel deals for their personal use and their families, in addition to offers received directly from suppliers. Scotney says as the market leader in the home-based consulting sector, TravelManagers is always looking at how to maximise arrangements for its personal travel managers.

“We are always seeking opportunities to add value to our personal travel managers’ membership with TravelManagers. Access to fantastic travel deals is not only a huge personal benefit to our personal travel managers and their families, but it also assists with experiencing what’s available, in addition to the many offers received direct from our partner suppliers and our extensive exclusive familisation education programme.”

Scotney says with TravelManagers rapid expansion throughout Australia they are a serious contender within the Australian travel industry.

“With over 350 personal travel managers across the country TravelManagers now controls a significant part of product distribution and customer consultation in the overall Australian marketplace. We are going from strength to strength and the wellbeing of our personal travel managers is upper most in our mind.”

Breakaway has been running an industry-wide competition with Virgin Australia offering a prize of a return ticket to Los Angeles for new members and member renewals. TravelManagers’ Michelle Schulze, representative for Grays Point, New South Wales won the prize by joining Breakaway Travelclub as part of TravelManagers’ corporate membership. Schulze was thrilled to learn she was the lucky winner.

“It was a fantastic surprise to learn I would soon be on my way to LA! Having made the decision to join TravelManagers, largely based on their extensive and preferred supplier relationships, it appears to have been a great move for me both professionally and personally. They are very focused on looking after us, the support is significant and I feel hugely confident about growing my client database with them. I even have a state business partnership manager in Sydney I can call on in fact there are five of them including business partnership managers based in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.”
