TravelManagers has appointed a second business partnership manager to support the growth it is experiencing in Victoria. National Business Partnership Manager for TravelManagers’, Michael Gazal says Kellie Browning will be based in Melbourne and similarly to New South Wales, Victoria now has two business partnership managers.
“The growth we are experiencing in Victoria is significant and we want to ensure all of our personal travel managers, whether they are just joining or have been with us from the beginning, receive the level of support they need.”
Gazal says TravelManagers is thrilled to have secured Browning as part of their team.
“Kellie’s been in the travel industry for over 20 years and during that time she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge including strategic planning, sales, marketing, recruitment, leadership and business development. Having agency and product experience is a bonus but it’s her understanding of business planning and marketing that I am particularly excited about.”
Browning says she couldn’t wait to start once she knew she had secured the role.
“TravelManagers has a fantastic reputation in the market, they are market leaders and seen as constantly at the cutting edge. I am excited about adding to their expertise, supporting the personal travel managers in my area and further developing supplier relations in Victoria for all of TravelManagers.”
Browning will be responsible for the southern part of Melbourne and Victoria including the Mornington Peninsula extending east to the Gippsland region and Scott Hallo (the existing business partnership manager) will look after northern Melbourne and all other Victorian regional personal travel managers and Tasmania. Gazal says the business partnership managers have a critical role.
“Their focus is very much channeled at supporting the personal travel managers in their area to grow and develop their businesses to the level and in the direction they want. TravelManagers has a licensed travel agent’s office in every state across Australia ensuring we conform to each individual State’s licensing requirements.”
Gazal says TravelManagers now has six state business partnership managers.
“As we grow we’re backing this up with the placement of additional infrastructure on the ground and enhanced support systems. In addition to Kellie’s appointment in Victoria we have recently appointed Julie Anderson in New South Wales. TravelManagers is focused on sustained growth and the best way to do this is to support our personal travel managers.”
